Kiev has connection with most major European cities and
America. Most international flights arrive to Kiev International airport
Boryspil which located 38.6 km (24 miles) from Kyiv.
AS YOU DEPART
Please note that during customs formalities
at the Ukrainian border you may opt for the "green" channel - or the "red"
one. The "red" channel, where you will be asked for a completed customs
declaration, is for passengers carrying over US$ 1000 in cash (or the equivalent
amount in any other currency) and/or goods to declare. Otherwise, you may
go through the "green" channel. Be prepared, however, that a customs officer
may ask to inspect your luggage. Please remember to have your passport
and ticket at hand.
The Hand Luggage Check-In Counter may be preferential upon departure for
passengers with luggage of under 7 kg, measuring not more than 55x40x20
cm (or, all three dimensions added up, 115 cm).
The VIP lounge is situated to the right of the
main entrance (Terminal C). It is designed to bring comfort to those who
value it and hate bustle. Here you will be offered a variety of drinks,
and we'll take the hustle out of the airport formalities for you, from customs
all the way through to boarding.
AS YOU ARRIVE
While still aboard, you may want to fill in your customs declaration. Should
you wish to make use of it in future, make it out in duplicate.
Luggage trolleys are available in the customs area hall (free of charge).
An exchange bureau is in the same hall.

are for people carrying goods or cash that must be declared.
It is important to save all documents you receive and fill out while going
through customs, as you will need to present these when leaving Ukraine.

The time of registration is different in each airport.
In the airport Borispol it begins 2 hours 30 minutes and finishes 40 minutes
prior to the departure. When you buy the ticket please ascertain the time
of registration. Otherwise, Your ticket can be sold if you don't appear
for registration.
First of all you have to pass the passport and customs control, then you
have to follow to the registering clerk to obtain the boarding pass with
your place and to register your luggage.
The boarding will be announced afterwards. When you hear this information
you have to go to the gates indicated in your boarding pass, and there you
have to pass the special control. The country of your destination can have
special rules, so when you buy the ticket ask the clerk about registration
procedure in that country.
LOST & FOUND
If your registered luggage didn`t arrive, you sould address a quest to the
"Lost & Found" office, which located at the arrival hall. Phone: 7498,

REGISTRATION
Since July, 1, 2001 according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine
"About Supplementary Measures Concerning Realization of the Human Rights
for the Freedom of Movement and the Free Choice of the Commorancy " #435
from 15.06.01 the registration of foreigners who enter Ukraine in accordance
with established procedure and the registration of their passport documents
is realized only in check points at the frontier of Ukraine by the bodies
of the State Committee on Affairs of Protection of the Frontier of Ukraine.
Any further registration of foreigners who temporally and on legal grounds
reside on territory of Ukraine, and the registration of their passport documents
in law-enforcement bodies is not conducted. The registration of foreigners
who enter Ukraine for permanent residence, studying, training and working
is realized by law-enforcement bodies in accordance with established procedure
(Appendix 3).
PASSPORT
LOST
In case of losing national passport on the territory of Ukraine the foreigner
must inform about this his (her) organization and the law-enforcement bodies
which will issue the certificate of loss at his (her) request. After foreigner's
receiving the national passport on the basis of his (her) personal application
and the application of his (her) organization in the embassy or consular
establishment of his (her) country the law-enforcement body solves the question
of issuing visa for departing from Ukraine or registration of the national
passport of the foreigner.

Airport Hotel
Boryspil *** is near to the "B" Terminal, and provides the option of
accommodation directly at the airport.

new airport hotel was opened in Boryspil.
It is located in a quiet district of Boryspil, at the distance of 9 km from
airport, 18 km from Kyiv and 34 km from central railway station. There
are 60 comfortable suites at the hotel.
